Board Meetings - are held at 7:00pm on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the
WREC.
Gym Usage Alert!!
Over the last couple of weeks there have been unfortunate incidents at several
Centennial School District facilities utilized by WBA. Both incidents involved
unsupervised children in areas that they should not have been. It is extremely
important that parents are constantly supervising WBA players and any other
children at the schools. One incident involved the damaging of school property. The
WBA players that were involved were suspended for a game and their parents paid
to replace the damaged item.
Make sure that you constantly supervise your children. If you see anyone being
irresponsible in the gyms, please correct their behaviors or contact a referee or WBA
Director as soon as possible.
The schools are under no obligation to host WBA practices and games. We are
grateful for the time that they provide us. If they feel that we are not responsible
on their property, they may, without warning, close their gyms to our usage. This
would obviously affect all children that use those facilities, not just the irresponsible
parties.
Please make sure you strictly abide by all Gym Rules listed in the Codes/Rules
section of the website. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact
any member of the WBA Board of Directors.
